From director Elfar Adalsteins, Summerlight And Then Comes The Night (2023) is a Nordic tragicomedy and an adaption of the novel of the same name by Jón Kalman Stefánsson. An all Icelandic cast (including Heida Reed and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson) make up the inhabitants of a small fishing village whose lives all intersect over the course of several months in all kinds of unexpected ways.
Zach’s work for this film involved creating and managing its social media accounts (creating posts, short video content, graphics, collaborative posting, etc); and coordinating outreach to numerous grassroots organizations, Icelandic communities and consulates in the U.S.
