Released in Italy in 2008, Romanzo Criminale (“Criminal Novel”) is the story of the Banda della Magliana, an Italian crime syndicate that formed in Rome in 1975, that is adapted from the novel written by Judge Giancarlo De Cataldo. It follows the organization’s inception, criminal activity and political involvement with certain neo-fascist groups amongst the chaos and restlessness of Italy during the Cold War.
The series was released on DVD in the U.S. in 2017 by Kino Lorber and above is the Official Trailer for that release. The film has yet to be released on Blu-ray in the U.S., unfortunately.
